Methodology & transparency
This page describes the intended standards. Collection and review workflows are under development.
Sources before claims
Public records should identify their source, publisher, publication date and access date. Unsourced information must not be presented as verified. Official candidate confirmation requires an official source.
Independent review
Attaching a source is not verification. Reviewers will inspect documentary evidence, arithmetic checks and independent submissions. Matching submissions indicate corroboration; conflicting reports require human review.
Election information
Unofficial field-collected result. Final election results are determined and declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Official results will be displayed separately. Coverage describes how much information has been received or reviewed; it does not predict an outcome.
Corrections & limitations
Published corrections will retain a record of previous values, supporting evidence and the review decision. Correction intake is not yet available. No public datasets are currently published.
Privacy
The platform will not collect voter preference profiles, persuasion scores or sensitive demographic targeting data. Operational account details and unreviewed evidence are private.
